Adam W. Preston, age 35, of Wellston, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, from injuries he received from an ATV accident.  He was born October 4, 1986 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Len Alvin Preston and Brenda Sue Simpson Preston.  Adam was a 2006 graduate of Wellston High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center, and was employed at Kenworth Truck Company in Chillicothe for 10 years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles, shooting guns, and spending time with his children and family.  Adam is survived by his parents, Len and Brenda Preston; children, Levi River Preston and Piper Anne Preston; sisters, Kristen Yoest (Kevin) and Stefanie Bowen (Michael); brother, Todd Preston (Kristen); grandfather, Ted Simpson; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends, Joseph Simpson and Matt Vickers.  Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grace Simpson and Thomas and Dessie Preston; and uncle, Ted Simpson.  Calling hours will be Thursday, January 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Friday, January 21st, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Griffith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Byer Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
