Amy Christine Dye Christian, age 51, of McArthur, passed away December 24, 2024, at her home.  She was born December 16, 1973 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Alfred H. Dye, Jr. and Tonya Sue Bishop Dye.  Amy was a homemaker and a nature lover.  She enjoyed watching butterflies, mushroom hunting, watching T.V. and taking care of her pets.  Amy loved listening to music and understood that music was a getaway for her children, and she always supported that.  She is survived by her children, Shelby Lynn Christian and Austin Layne Christian; siblings, Kelly Magill (Brian), Eric Nichols (Monse), and Nikki Poling (Bob); sister-in-law, Sabrina Sprouse, as well as aunts, nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Amy was preceded in death by brother, Tim Dye; grandparents, Margaret and Alfred Dye, Sr. and Rita and Richard Bishop, Sr., and uncle, Richard Bishop, Jr.  Cremation followed Amy's passing.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Wellston Church of Christ, 201 North Minnesota Ave., with Irving Everson officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
