Barbara J. "Bobbie"  Davis Bentley, age 87, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home.  She was born August 7, 1936 in Accoville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Oscar and Margaret Alberta (Koontz) Stapleton.  Bobbie was a 1954 graduate of Gallia Academy High School in Vinton.  She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed camping, fishing and vegetable gardening.  Bobbie loved to cook and always enjoyed cooking large meals for the family and on holidays.  She loved her family dearly and cherished the times spent with them.  Bobbie is survived by her children, Mary Crabtree (Joey), Malchom Davis (Denise), and Johnny Davis (Teresa); brothers, Danny Stapleton and Roger Stapleton (Debbie); sister, Jeraldine Duhl-Cline (Eugene); along with 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bentley; daughter, Barbara Thomas; grandsons, Fred Thomas and Jason Crabtree; and siblings, Richard Stapleton, Helen McPheters, Irene Fyffe, Donna Jackson, and Wilma Adkins.  Private services for the immediate family will be held Friday, June 21st, at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Pastor Travis Potts officiating.  Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
