Barbara Jane “Dub” Radcliffe Burke, age 93, of Coalton, Ohio, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Born in Coalton, Ohio in 1933, Barbara lived a life rooted in faith, family and service. Affectionately known as “Dub”, a nickname given to her by her brother, David Victor Radcliffe, she was a lifelong resident of the Coalton community and faithfully attended Coalton Freewill Baptist Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Erba Radcliffe; her beloved husband, Charles Daniel Burke; brother, David Victor Radcliffe; sister, Della Ann Radcliffe Hudson and son-in-law, Randy Sizemore. She is survived by her daughter, Dorthy Burke Sizemore Brohard and son-in-law, Mark Brohard. She was the loving grandmother to James Daniel Sizemore (April Sizemore) Jennifer Brooke Carpenter (Tracy Carpenter) and Phillip Randall Sizemore. She leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Josie Atwood, Matt Atwood, Brooklyn Carpenter, Leia Sizemore, Lily Sizemore, Lydia Sizemore, Colin Sizemore, Daniel Sizemore and Nolan Sizemore, and her great-great-grandchildren, Allie Atwood, Rowan Carpenter and Oliver Ludin. Beyond her immediate family, Barbara held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews. She was like a second mother to Barbara Wolfe, Lisa Gillman and Tony Hudson. Aunt Dubbie to Rachel, Evan and Jarrod. A dedicated homemaker, Barbara found joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her skilled hands produced countless quilts and crocheted treasures. She enjoyed reading poetry and her Bible and spending quiet moments reflecting on the blessings God had given her. Though her earthly journey has ended, the legacy of love, faith and devotion she leaves behind will continue to inspire all who knew her. Barbara will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her family and friends. A special thank you goes out to Jenny Jones for always being like another daughter/granddaughter. Thank you to Jenkins Care Community and all the kind employees for helping care for her during her stay there. Her Children arise up, and call her blessed. Proverbs 31:28. Calling hours will be Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial will be in the Coalton Cemetery.
