Elizabeth A. "Betty" Dobbins, age 92, of Hamden, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Edgewood Manor in Wellston.  She was born December 21, 1929 in Hamden, Ohio, daughter of the late Avie R. and Ethel A. (Tripp)Tedrow.  Several years ago, Betty was a receptionist for Dr. Earl J. Levine in Wellston and was also a former administrative assistant at the Vinton County Health Department.  Betty was a member of the Hamden United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star in Hamden and the Vinton County Senior Citizens.  She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with both children and the elderly.  Betty is survived by step-daughter, Judy Dobbins of California; and best friends and caregivers, Rhoda Toon Price and Pamela Toon, both of Hamden.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Vale V. Cottrill in 1970 and Gerald R. "Jake" Dobbins in 1988; special friend, Willis C. "Junior" McManus; brothers, Paul Tedrow and Donald Tedrow, and infant brother, Glendon Tedrow.  In keeping with Betty's requests, there will be no services and her body was cremated.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
