Betty Jean Harmon, age 70, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born November 21, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Woodrow Wilson and Edna White Wilson. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, drawing and coloring, going shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Sharon Sweeney, Jess Harmon (Gracie Collins) and Danny Harmon (Sabrina Hill); step-children, Steve Harmon and Michelle Crouse; siblings, David Wilson, Pat Grey, Danny Wilson and Bobby Wilson; along with 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Millard Harmon in 2015; and her sister, Shirley White. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 2nd, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 3rd, at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home.
