Obituary

Billie Lou Henneman, age 89, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston.  She was born April 24, 1931 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph Glendon McManaway and Ruth Marie Null McManaway.  Billie Lou was a 1949 graduate of Wellston High School.  She retired from Wellston City Schools, where she was a school bus driver for 23 years.  During that time, she was also a WHS cheerleading advisor.  In years past, Billie Lou had her own bakery out of her home and enjoyed making wedding cakes, as well as catering.  Over the years, Billie Lou always enjoyed shopping, showing dachshunds at dog shows, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a strong believer and supporter of the former EUB Church  in Wellston, where she was raised and attended the majority of her life.  In recent years, Billie Lou continued to attend at the same church building which is now Grace Baptist Fellowship.  She was a member of Chase Chapter #162 Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron numerous times.  Billie Lou is survived by her children, Phil Henneman (Phyllis) of Wellston and Lori Cassill (Bill) of Hamden; grandchildren, Ralph Henneman (Sara), Rachel Butcher (Chris) and Bryan Cassill (Heather); great-grandchildren, Abigail Henneman, Lydia Henneman, Rylee Butcher, C.J. Butcher and Bryson Cassill; sister, Linda Seman of West Milton; brother, Mike McManaway of West Milton; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, George Edward Henneman in 2015; and sister, Donna Winters.  Calling hours will be Friday, October 23, 2020, from 12 to 2 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 P.M. with Rev. Randy Hardman officiating.  In keeping with Billie Lou's wishes, cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date in Ridgewood Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
