Robert Matthews "Bob" Dixon, age 77, of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home.  He was born June 22, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Roy E. Dixon and Glenna J. Matthews Dixon.  Bob graduated in 1967 from Bellville West High School in Bellview, Illinois, and later received an associate's degree in business from Allegheny Community College in Pittsburg.  He served his country in the United States Army from 1968-1971 during the Vietnam Conflict.  Bob retired from the steel industry in Pittsburg.  He is survived by his sister, Barbara Dixon Mueller; brothers, Larry Dixon (Debbie Scharfenberger Dixon) and Terry Dixon, all of Illinois. He was "Uncle Bob" to 5 nieces and nephews, 2 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 1 great-great nephew.  Bob is also survived by Jerice Eckels and her daughters, Jillian, Jessica, Ember, and Rayna.  Bob's Pittsburg family are Larry and Valerie Draeger and their children, Mike and Andrea.  Calling hours will be Saturday, January 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
