Robert Vaughn "Bob" Kirby, age 75, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his residence.  He was born August 9, 1947 in Hamden, Ohio, son of the late James H. Kirby and Mary Ellen Bolar Kirby.  Bob retired from Austin Powder, where he was employed for several years.  He had a funny personality and always loved to joke with everyone.  Bob also enjoyed sports of all kinds, and in his younger days umpired and coached youth sports.  He is survived by his brothers, David Kirby of Wellston and Mike Kirby of Columbus, along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides is parents, Bob was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Warrington, Patty Oberholzer and Joan Souders; and brothers, Tom Kirby, Jimmy Kirby and Richard Kirby.  Bob requested that cremation follow his passing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
