Barbara Joan "Bobbi Jo" Eberts, age 88, of Hamden, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at  St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.  She was born January 21, 1938 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Ralph Martin Kinsel and Dorothy Mae Prose Kinsel.  Bobbie Jo was a 1955 graduate of Hamden High School where she was head majorette and a cheerleader for the Hamden Engineers.  She retired from the Vinton County Local School District where she was a librarian and an aide for many, many years.  In years past, Bobbi Jo was an avid bowler.  She always enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and preserving memories in her scrapbooks.  Bobbi Jo loved taking trips to the beach, working outside in her flowers, and tending to her dogs.  She was a lifelong member of Hamden United Methodist Church and past member of the Hamden Order of Eastern Star.  Bobbi is survived by her children, Frank Eberts (Eila), John Eberts, Robin Henry, and Carol Mae Brown (Bob); grandchildren, Jake Eberts (Dana), Amber Eberts, Cary Paul Eberts (Sarah), Alex Henry, Austin Craig (Kelsey Hager), Dakota Brown (Kensie), Evan Brown, and Garrett Brown; great-grandchildren, Mykenna, Dylann, Olivia, Owen, Lillie, Baker, and Camden; sister, Nancy Jane Allison; sisters-in-law, Nell Kinsel and Dolly Barton, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bernard Franklin "Frank" Eberts in 2017; infant granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Eberts; brother, Charles "Chip" Kinsel; and brothers-in-law, Herman Allison and Don Barton.  Calling hours will be Thursday, February 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Friday, February 6, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev.
