Brenda Lou Baisden, age 58, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at her home.  She was born August 13, 1963 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Bennie L. and Jane (Bright) Baisden.  Brenda was a 1981 graduate of Wellston High School and was employed at General Mills for many years until her retirement.  She enjoyed singing, traveling, and caring for her dogs.  Brenda was known for taking in rescue dogs and treating them like a member of the family.  Her outgoing and strong-willed personality will be greatly missed by all who loved her.  Brenda is survived by her brother, Timmy Baisden (Diana) of Wellston; sister, Wanda Albert of Ridge Manor, Florida; niece, Crystal Helgerson (Chris), and great-nephew and great-niece, Kurtis and Lailani Helgerson, all of Cornelius, Oregon; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including longtime friends, Donna Ginther and Norman Gilliland.  Calling hours will be Monday, April 4 ^th , from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 5 ^th , at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.  Burial will be in the Baisden Cemetery in Glenroy.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
