Brenda Sue Rose, age 72, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born May 3, 1948 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late William "Willie" Jarvis and Thelma Overstreet Jarvis.  Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.  She enjoyed going to bingo, watching television and spending time with her family.  Brenda was a member of the Wellston Church of God of Prophecy.  She is survived by her children, Mark Rose of Florida, Tammy Jones of Wellston and Rebecca Pierce of Wellston; grandchildren, Marsha Rose, Roger Rose, Curtis Jones, Shania Jones, Stephen Jones, Genna Pierce and Brianna Pierce; sister, Dodie Seitz of Wellston; brother, Robert Jarvis of Chillicothe; as well as 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Roger C. Rose in 2008; grandchildren, Bret Pierce and Julia Jones; brother, Billy Jarvis; and infant twin siblings.  Funeral service will be Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 2 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating.  Calling hours will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service.  Brenda requested that cremation follow the service.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
