Bryan Keith Owings, age 54, of McArthur, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson, Ohio.  He was born June 24, 1970 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Raymond Austin "Butch" Owings and Karen Sue Sowers Owings.  Bryan graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1989.  He worked at Kenworth in Chillicothe where he was employed for over 25 years.  Bryan was a family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.  He knew anything and everything about all sports and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.  Bryan was a member of the Eagles Lodge #2279 in McArthur and the Moose Lodge #873 in Logan.  He is survived by his sons, Austin Owings (Beth) and Alex Owings (Mackenzie); grandsons, Theo, Zephyr, and Ricky; sister, Pam Jarvis (Earl); brother, Butch Owings (Johnna); sister-in-law, Trudy Owings; mother of his sons, Michelle Immell; special friend, Curtis Webb; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Owings.  Calling hours will be Thursday, September 5th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  An Eagle's service will begin at 12:45 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. with Rev.
