Carole L. Brown, age 65, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her home.  She was born August 21, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred R. Stewart and Alma M. Womeldorf Stewart.  Carole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.  She was a simple woman who loved spending porch time with her family and friends. Carole also enjoyed shopping, listening to everyone else sing karaoke, and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes.  She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Kim Brown; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Joey Williams and Brittany and Alex Waugh; grandchildren, Payton Marquis (Chad) Courtney Carper (Steven), Cameron Williams, Roddy Brown (Brianna) and Lucas Waugh; great-grandchildren, Landon, Brantley and Addilyn Carper, Lauryn Marquis and Blakely Williams; sister, Sandy Lanning (Eric); along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wayne Brown in 2020; brothers, Steve Stewart and Randy Stewart; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Mary Brown.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 17th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Carl Rose officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
