Carolyn Sue Bandy, age 80, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born January 21, 1943 in Jackson County, Ohio, daughter of the late Theodore W. Rodgers and Doris Alice VanMeter Rodgers McIntire.  Carolyn graduated from Hamden High School with the class of 1960.  She was a retired hairdresser who styled hair for 60 years.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur and enjoyed cooking and fixing hair.  Carolyn is survived by her children, Cindy McManis (Bruce), and Michael Strite; grandchildren, Mikie Strite, Sydney Strite, Allie Murray (Shawn) and Mark Vickers; great-grandson, Emmet Murray; brothers, Bob Rodgers and Jim McIntire; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Will Bandy; and son, Mark "Boo" Vickers.  In keeping with Carolyn's wishes there will be no public services and cremation followed her passing.  A private celebration of her life for her family will be held at a later time.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com .
