Obituary

Catina Lynn Brown-Willis, age 64, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  She was born December 10, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Jimmie R. Brown and Linda L. Dailey Brown.  Catina was a 1978 graduate of Preble Shawnee High School.  She retired from General Mills in Wellston, where she was employed for over 30 years.  Catina loved spending time with her family and friends, and in her spare time she enjoyed reading, music, and making arts and crafts.  She attended the Church of God of Prophecy.  Catina is survived by her children, Andrea Collins (Tommy), Joseph Willis III (Diana), and Brittany Holcomb (CJ); grandchildren, Kerstin Flannery (Sean), Jessica Case (Christopher), Brett Case (Patience), Milena Willis, Hannah Holcomb, Jesse Holcomb, and Joanna Holcomb; great-grandchildren, Dekklin Clemons, Marceline Flannery, as well as 2 on the way; sister, Peggy Frazier; brother, Carl Brown (Vicky); along with several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Jimmie "JR" Brown, Sharon Glover, Cordell Brown, and Elizabeth Brown.  Calling hours will be Sunday, February 4th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours at 5 p.m. with Pastor Gary Justice officiating.  In keeping with Catina's wishes, cremation will follow the services.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
