Charlotte M. Roof, age 68, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born May 11, 1952 at home in Wilkesville to the late Delmar Ray Marks and Helen Kathleen Taylor Marks.  Charlotte was a 1970 graduate of Vinton County High School.  She is survived by her son, Justin Roof of Wellston; brothers, Delmar Marks, Jr. (Doris) of Marion, Wendell Marks of Indiana, Roger Marks (Pam) of Jackson and John Marks (Linda) of Jackson; along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Ray and Kate Marks, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Roof;  sisters, Rosie Marks, Judy Jean Marks and Karolyn Sexton; and brother, Rex Marks.  In keeping with Charlotte's wishes, her body was cremated.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
