Christy Lynn Hayes, age 65, of Ray, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord at 11:38 a.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021, after a short illness.  She was born December 25, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Kenneth E. Clary and Betty R. Anderson Clary.  Christy loved spending time with the love of her life, Don, and her family.  She loved to catfish with her sons, having evening phone calls with her daughter, scrapbooking, sewing, and going to yard sales with her sisters.  She will be dearly missed.  Christy is survived by the love of her life, Don Hayes, whom she married on August 30, 1974; children, Dawn Harris (Andre) of Oklahoma, Jessie Hayes (Rebekah) of Chillicothe and David Hayes (Misty) of Ray; brothers and sisters, Diane Wilkins, Michael Clary (Kitty), LouAnn Doles (Lonnie), Valerie Pickelsimer (Jerry), Jack Clary (Debra) and Keith Clary (Brenda); along with 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with the funeral service following at 1 p.m.  In keeping with Christy's wishes, cremation will follow the service.  For those choosing to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
