Clay Allen Morris

  Clay Allen Morris, age 42, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2026 at his home. He was born February 14, 1984 in Athens, Ohio to the late Douglas H. Morris and Nancy Marie Mace Morris. Clay loved his family dearly and had a humorous personality that always kept everyone laughing. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing with his sons and riding four-wheelers. Clay is survived by his wife and companion of 26 years, Ashley R. Swaim Morris; three sons, Gage Morris, Kayden Morris and Dylan Morris; four sisters, Tammy Hale, Carey Goodman, Deven Collingwood and Cassie Day; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Pam Graves, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother Pearl Ousley. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 14th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Samuel Lore officiating. Burial will follow in Boblett Cemetery.
