Cybert Edward "Cy" Long, age, 74, of Wellston, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson.  He was born on May 23, 1951 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Edward Carl Long and Frances Jean Coon Long.  Cy retired from Montgomery Trucking in Wellston but spent most of his career as owner and operator of C. E. Long Trucking.  His two passions were horses and trucks.  When Cy wasn't behind the wheel, he could be found riding trails on horseback.  Cy is survived by his two sons, Shane Long (Kelli) and Eric Long; grandchildren, Mikyla, Alyson, Shanea, Andy, Cameron and Rylan; great-grandchildren, Easton, Brinnley, Walker, Bennett, Kasen, Dixon, Dutton, Kody, Denver and Evelyn; brother, Steve Long (Jeri); close cousin, Jamie Coon (Teresa), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.  In addition to his parents, Cy was preceded in death by his great-grandson Cayden.  Calling hours will be Friday, April 17, from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Carmen Cline officiating.  Burial will be in Byer Cemetery.   Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
