Dan Miller

Daniel Shade “Dan” Miller, age 59, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born February 13, 1967 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to the late Shade Woodrow Miller and Inez Jenkins Miller. Dan was a 1985 graduate of Jackson High School and later obtained his associate’s degree in communications from the University of Rio Grande. He was a car salesman most of his life. Dan was known to family and friends for his funny, witty personality and amazing musical talent. He loved playing the guitar and performing with friends. Dan is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and John Rogers; brother, Mark Miller; niece, Neveah Hightower, and life-long best friends, Reva Evans Foy, Cheryl Brohard and Michael Keeton. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fannie and Ed Jenkins; and uncles, Edgar Jenkins and Kenny Jenkins. A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery on Thursday, October, 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
