Jeffrey Daniel Rice, age 47, of Wellston, passed away at his home on August 26, 2021. He was born on June 6, 1974, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Robert Jeffrey Rice and Melodae Farley Conn.  Daniel loved to help people, no matter what they were doing.  He is survived by his parents; mom-in-law, Sally Jones; sisters-in-law, Leslie and Lisa; and brother-in-law, Ralph Jr.; aunt, Ruth Sams; and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Rice; grandparents, Lewis and Alta Farley; and grandfather, Charles Rice.

There will be a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life at a later date. In accordance with Daniel's wishes, he will be cremated.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
