Darryl Edward Graham, age 86, of Wellston, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at his home.  He was born October 31, 1937 in Jackson County, Ohio, son of the late Clarence E. "Spec" Graham and Kathryn J. Simmons Graham.  Darryl retired from Austin Powder Company, where he was employed for several years.  Darryl was also a farmer for 30+ years.  He loved to farm and took great pride in taking care of his land.  He enjoyed fishing, and hunting of all sorts, including mushroom, ginseng, and fox hunting.  In his earlier years, Darryl enjoyed trapping for furs, and was an avid fox hunter who was involved with Graham and Sons Kennels.  He also enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR on T.V.  Most of all, Darryl enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Anna Grace James Graham; children, Barry Graham, Cindi Ward (Timothy), Timothy Graham (Carmella), and Lisa Perkins; grandchildren, Ashley Zinn (Seth), Zachary Perkins (Cheyenne), Kayla Payne, Caytlon Johnson (Ryan), Cody Graham, Keegan Graham (Breanna Rapp), Carissa Daniels (Seth), and Kamryn Graham; sisters, Norma Hubbard (Gary) and Beverly Oiler; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Darryl was preceded in death by brother, Lowell "Buck" Graham; and sisters, Phyllis Stewart and Carol Seitz.  Calling hours will be Friday, March 8th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. with Pastor Andy Rawlins officiating.  In keeping with Darryl's request, cremation will follow the service.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
