David E. Bledsoe, age 65, of Allensville, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio following extended illnesses.  He was born November 15, 1958 in Wellston, Ohio, son of the late Denby and Minnie Opal (Baker) Bledsoe.  David was a graduate of Vinton County High School and retired from Kenworth where he was employed for 25 years.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandbabies.  David will be greatly missed by many and if you knew him you were the lucky one.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda (Knece) Bledsoe; sons, Steve McNichols (Mikki) and Jamie McNichols; daughter-in-law, Robin Graves; siblings, Roger Bledsoe (Carolyn), Mike Bledsoe (Karen), Keith Bledsoe, Bobby Bledsoe (Kathleen), Kevin Bledsoe (Carrie), Denby Bledsoe Jr. (Theresa), and Linda Johnson (Mark); brother-in-law, Tony Knece (Diane); sister-in-law, Peg Nelson; along with 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Bledsoe; sisters-in-law, Vicki Bledsoe and Norma Bledsoe, and brothers-in-law, Jerry Knece and Howard Nelson.  Graveside service will be Tuesday, November 12th, at 11 a.m. at the Bledsoe Family Cemetery in Ray with Pastor Gabe Ward officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
