Harold Dean Detty, age 62, of Radcliff, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at his home.  He was born November 26, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Melvin Arthur Detty and Emily Louise Queen Church.  Dean was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He always enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as going hunting, fishing, and taking care of his many animals.   Dean is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Sue Kessler Detty, whom he married on December 23, 1978; daughters, Deana Sue Adkins (Phillip), De De Marie Detty (Timothy Combs), Dava Louise Booth (Richard) and Daisy Mae Smith (Casey); grandchildren, Cole (Kiara), Everett, Hannah, Waylon, Willa, Kylee, Owen, Kenden, Olive, Khloe, Timothy and Trayson; great-grandson, Reverie; mother, Emily Church; sister, Lamura Ramsey; nieces and nephews, Melanie, Alaina, Christopher and Tristin; aunt, Phyllis King; along with several cousins and friends.  Dean was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Detty; grandson, Justin; and brothers, Melvin Detty and Edward Huston.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Cremation will follow the calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
