Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Andrews, age 61, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1964 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Charles Lloyd Jayjohn and Glenna Maxine Harper Jayjohn. Debbie graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1982. Debbie enjoyed life. Known to be a social butterfly, she never met a stranger and always enjoyed a good conversation with others. Debbie loved her many trips to the beach that she took with friends for years, but most of all, she loved spending as much time as possible with her family. She attended the Community of Christ Church in Wellston. Debbie is survived by her mother, Glenna Jayjohn Donahoe; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Josh Coleman; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Amy and Tim Scritchfield; grandchildren, Hayleigh Carver and Paisley Scritchfield; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Tim Hale; nieces, Kyra Horn and Rylee Grabans; special friend, Jeff Bolen, along with a host of other special and close friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Jayjohn; step-father, Larry Donahoe; and her husband, Steve Andrews. Calling hours will be Monday, July 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. A brief service will conclude the calling hours at 6 p.m. In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. A gathering celebrating Debbie’s life will be held immediately following the funeral service at the Herbert Westcoat Memorial Library in McArthur. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be given in Debbie’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.
