Deborah Kay "Debbie" Hembree, age 63, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home.  She was born December 20, 1957 in Logan, Ohio to Oscar W. Ward and Geneva Y. Tripp Harkins.  Debbie graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1975 and went on to receive a cosmetology degree from Career Beauty School in Chillicothe.  She was the owner and operator of His N Her's Styling Salon in Hamden for several years.  Debbie attended the Hamden United Methodist Church and she always enjoyed going shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael Thomas "Mike" Hembree; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Shawn Maxwell of Londonderry; grandsons, Jake and Tripp Maxwell; mother and step-father, Geneva and Mike Harkins of McArthur; sisters, Sarah Zinn (Jerry) of McArthur and Diane Emmert of Hamden; brothers, Frank Ward (Bonnie) of South Carolina and Adam Ward (Nanette) of McArthur; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.  Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Ward; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Mildred Hembree.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 7th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 8th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
