Deborah D. Kelly Ervin, of Wellston, passed away 1 day prior to her 76th birthday on Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by family.  She was born March 9, 1948 in Vinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Glen and Harriett Donahue Mays.  Debbie was a 1966 graduate of Wellston High School.  She retired from Jenkins Memorial Health Facility in Wellston where she was a nursing assistant for 30 years.  Debbie was an avid reader who also enjoyed gardening, canning, and quilting.  Most of all, Debbie loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.  She was an angel on earth, and her soft-spoken and loving personality will be missed by everyone that knew her.  Debbie is survived by her children, Kim Kelly Kuhn and Kenny Kelly (Angie); grandchildren, Michael Patterson, Ashley Patterson, Paige Patterson, Ashley Kelly, Kenny Kelly, and Cassidy Kelly; sisters, Joyce Waters and Brenda Gilliland; great-grandchildren, Eli, Florence and Owen Patterson, and Annissa Lambert; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special niece, Stephanie Blazer and Marlo and Jude.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, David Kelly in 1996; second husband, Robert Ervin in 2010; brother, Melvin Mays; sisters, Cynthia Forrest, Billie Stewart, and Janet Hill; and great-grandson, Dash Mitoska.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 12th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Nate DeRochie officiating.  Burial will be in the Curry Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
