Denver Thale Carter, age 68, of Wellston, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.  Denver was a 1970 graduate of Jackson High School.  He was a  veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion Post 371 in Wellston.  Denver retired from Gladfelters in Chillicothe, where he was a very proud employee.  In his spare time, her enjoyed reading and being outside feeding the birds.    Denver is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joann Carter; and his son, Denver Carter, Jr., and his wife, Brittany.  In keeping with Denver's wishes, his body was cremated.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston,  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
