Diane Marie Johnson, age 71, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  She was born July 19, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late George W. Booth, Jr. and Shirley Ann Hall Booth.  Diane was a loving homemaker who enjoyed reading, cooking, canning, helping take care of her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children, Perry Johnson, Jr. (Beckie) of Wellston and Sara Stevens (Adam) of Wellston; step-daughters, Lisa Lesperance (Dale) of Colorado and Rhonda Bridegam (Kevin) of California; grandchildren, Ashtyn Johnson (Jarrod), Harper Stevens, Clayton Stevens, Amanda Muir (Greg), Travis Lesperance (Haven), Alexis Tinsley, and Haylee Polinsky; sister, Sandra Ford (Rick) of Michigan, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Johnson, Sr. in 2000; sister, Beverly Tabor, and brothers, David Booth and Andrew Booth.  Calling hours will be Thursday, February 13th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
