Dora Marie "Dodie" Jarvis Seitz, age 86, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday morning, October 26, 2022, at Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio.  She was born June 8, 1936 in Wellston, Ohio, daughter of the late Willie "Squirrely" Jarvis and Thelma Overstreet Jarvis.  Dodie was a former seamstress at Kuppenheimer Manufacturing in Wellston for 10 years.  She was also a loving mother and grandmother who had a big heart and was always wanting to help others.  Dodie's family was the apple of her eye, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and was the biggest fan ever of The Ohio State Buckeyes; Go Bucks!  Dodie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Bruce Bailey of Wellston; son, Marty Jarvis of Wellston; grandchildren, Brian Burns (Alex) of California, Marty Lee Jarvis of Wellston and Logan Jarvis of Wellston; and great-grandchildren, Jaliyah, Parker, Kingston and Levia.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Doug Jarvis; daughter-in-law, Tina Jarvis; and siblings, Betty Ann Jarvis, Billy Ray Jarvis, Norma Jean Jarvis, Brenda Jarvis Rose, and Bob "B.J." Jarvis.  Calling hours will be Saturday, October 29th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dick Moore officiating.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
