Donald L. Stewart, age 80, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born July 19, 1945 in Beechgrove Hollow in Allensville, Ohio, son of the late Winnie Marvin Stewart and Mildred Irene Hill Stewart.  Don graduated from Allensville High School with the class of 1963.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force who served during the Vietnam War.  Don was a retired truck driver and construction worker for most of his life.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and while inside, he didn't want bothered while watching golf and his Western shows.  Don is survived by his children, Diana Vay (Eric) of Colorado, Donald Stewart of Nevada, and Joanne Harris of Colorado; brother, Wayne Stewart (Bert) of McArthur; sisters, Carolyn Kraft (Rick) of West Chester and Kathy Stewart of McArthur; along with 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Virginia Anne Shepherd, John Marvin Stewart, Ronald Ray Stewart, Mary Louise Herres, and Russell Jay Stewart.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will be in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
