Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Williams, age 78, of Wellston, sadly passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, at Four Winds Community in Jackson.  She was born December 5, 1944 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Newt Green and Alice Mullins Green.  Dottie was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was well known for her love of her family and her compassion toward others and animals.  Dottie was also known for her delicious cooking, beautiful landscaping, being an avid bingo player and a competitive golfer.  She is survived by her 3 children, Ted Williams (Kelly), Kim Ousley (Carl) and Stacy Johnston (Joe); grandchildren, Brian Williams (Courtney), Justus Ousley (Shannon), Tyler Williams (Mallory), Molly Johnston, Luke Johnston, Branch Ousley (Stephanie), and Ashley Weese (Shawn); siblings, Virgil Bradley, Gene Boggs, Sam Green, Dixie Coleman, and Lori Tribby; along with 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her close cousin, Faye Williams.  Dottie is also survived by her many loving nurses and caregivers at Four Winds Community.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Williams, whom she married on January 18, 1960, and her brother, Newt "Bud" Green.  Calling hours will be Friday, March 3rd, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  In keeping with Dottie's request, cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Byer Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
