Ellen Martin Bentz, age 78, of Wellston, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio following a battle with cancer.  She was born July 6, 1942 in Byer, Ohio to the late William C. Luster and Callie C. Perkins Luster.  Ellen was a former insurance agent for Progressive Insurance Company.  She enjoyed watching T.V., spending time with her family and friends, and was a former member of the American Legion Post 371 Ladies Auxiliary.  Ellen is survived by her son, Brian Keith Massie of Beaverton, Oregon; and grandchildren, Ellen Massie, Jennifer McEwen, Joseph Martin, and Shine K. Massie.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bentz; daughter, Tami Yates; and sister, Diane Campbell.  In keeping with Ellen's request, there will be no services and her body was cremated.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
