Eric Scott Dress, age 51, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.  He was born November 20, 1970 in Pt. Pleasant, WV to Robert Dress and Vickie Fields Dress.  Eric, a veteran of the Unites States Navy Reserves, enjoyed watching football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his family.  He is survived by his father, Robert Dress of McArthur; son Zach Dress of Wellston; daughter, Kayla Dress of Logan; sister and brother-in-law, Sheri and Jason Huffman of Pomeroy; niece and nephew, Aleya Huffman and Keaton Huffman, both of Pomeroy; and aunt and uncle, Kathy and David Sigman of New Haven, WV.  Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Dress; paternal grandparents, Robert Dress, Sr. and Estelle Dress; and maternal grandparents, Thomas Fields and Judy Fields.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 12th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  In keeping with Eric's request, cremation will follow the visitation and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
