Erin Lynn Barney, age 43, of Jackson, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born April 28, 1982 in Athens, Ohio to Earl Edward Barney and Christy Lynn McComas Barney.  Erin graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 2000 and attended Hocking College.  She had a sassy and sometimes stubborn spirit, but her bright, kind, energetic and outgoing personality always shined.  Erin enjoyed singing, mud running, and going to various thrift stores and yard sales.  She is survived by her parents, Pastor Ed and Chris Barney; daughter, Emma Causey; son, Hayes Causey; brother, Brent Barney (Deanna); Goddaughter, Scarlet Postell, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Barney.  Calling hours will be Friday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating.  Burial will be in the Bowen Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
