Everett Ray Brown, age 61 of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Holzer Medical Center Jackson. He was born December 8, 1957, to the late Jack Brown and Mary Wiseman Brown.  Everett is survived by his daughter, Emily Winhoven (Jim) of Londonderry; granddaughter, Destiny; grandson, Christian; great grandson, Jace; brother, Wayne Brown (Carole) of Wellston; sisters, Linda Nickell (Melvin) of McArthur, Frances Burt of Jackson and Janet Newkirk (George) of Jackson; special nephew, Rod Brown of Wellston; as well many nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and his dog, Buddy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Norvell and Jackie Brown; and sister, Wilma Smith. The family would like to send its sincere thanks to Carter Smith for his loving care of Everett. Calling hours will be held Monday, August 5, 2019 at the McWilliams Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. with Pastor Carl Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
