Freddie Lee McCumber, Jr., age 43, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at his residence.  He was born to Freddie Lee McCumber, Sr. and Dorothy L. Howell Jones on July 20, 1980 in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Freddie graduated from Wellston High School in 1998 and attended Rio Grande College.  He was an employee at Walmart Distribution Center for over 10 years.  Freddie is survived by his parents, Steve and Dotty Jones; son Christopher McCumber; and grandparents, Margaret McCumber and Raymond and Barbara Jones.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred McCumber, Bill and Ruby Howell, and Mike and Jean Scurlock.  Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 28th, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
