Harvey Earl "Sonny" Hale II, age 37, of Wellston, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was born September 23, 1983 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Harvey Earl Hale and Barbara Fern Branscomb Hale.  Sonny was a truck driver and a welder by trade.  He always enjoyed listening to live music and attending concerts, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his children, nieces and nephews.  Sonny is survived by his mother, Barbara Hale; children, Haley, Kayden, Aunna and Brittany; brother, Mike Simms (Debbie); sisters, Rebecca Hale and Heather Hale; nephews, Micheal, Jordie, Matthew and Brandon; significant other, Kim Nicholson, and her daughter, Maddi; along with several cousins and friends.  Sonny was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Hale; and grandparents, Rev, Everett and Marjorie Branscomb and Allen and Rosialee Hale.  Calling hours will be Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  In keeping with Sonny's wishes, cremation will follow the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
