Irma J. Gardner, age 81, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at her home.  She was born December 25, 1944 in Zaleski, Ohio, daughter of the late Albert C. Watson and Grace M. Lowe.  Years ago, Irma worked as a blackjack dealer at a casino in Laughlin, Nevada, and was later employed at Sara Lee.  Irma enjoyed working crossword puzzles, sewing, and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children, Roy R. Gardner and Robin West; sister, Barbara Stacey; along with 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Besides her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Joseph Gardner, and several brothers and sisters.  In keeping with Irma's request, cremation followed her passing and there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
