James Johnson, age 92, of Edison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at his home. He was born in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late James Johnson and Lucille Stearn Johnson on March 28, 1931. James was a welder for McClain EZ Packing, Inc. and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. James is survived by sons, Brian Johnson and Bruce Johnson; stepdaughters and caretakers, Rhonda Large (Frank) and Sue Shenberger (Randy); brother, Frank Johnson; along with several grandchildren.  Private services are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
