Janet E. Sprague, age 67, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She was born June 5, 1953 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Clifton Leo Cardwell, Sr. and Lillie Mae Camp Cardwell.  Janet was a former aide at Good Shepherd Manor.  She was an avid NASCAR fan who also enjoyed watching wrestling on T.V. and spending time with her family.  Janet attended Freedom Chapel Church.  She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Gary Lee Sprague; children, Harley Rice Buffington, Jr. (Jennifer), Janet Elaine Stanley (Kenny) and Stephen Michael Buffington; along with 4 sisters, 3 brothers, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Janet was preceded in death by 1 sister.  Calling hours will be Monday, June 7, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. with Minister Robert Harper officiating.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
