Jannie S. Waulk, age 76, of McArthur, and a former resident of Hallsville, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the home of her sister in McArthur.  She was born August 5, 1949 in Coalton, Ohio, daughter of the late James Richard Waulk and Margaret E. Vititoe Exline.  Jannie graduated from Jackson High School with the class of 1967.  She was a former server at Ponderosa in Chillicothe as well as a team leader at Golden Corral.  When Jannie wasn't working, she was always outside working in her flowers and beautiful yard.  She was an excellent cook who especially enjoyed fixing her Louisiana dishes.  Jannie is survived by her sons, Howard P. Stevens, Jr. (Belinda) of Covington, Louisiana and Timothy D. Stevens of Hallsville; grandsons, Nicholas Stevens and Nash Stevens, both of Louisiana, and Timothy Stevens and Noah Stevens, both of Mississippi; brother, Rev. Richard Lee Vititoe (Marlene "Cookie") of Chillicothe; sisters, Jerri McCoy of McArthur and Cathy Henry (Larry) of New Carlisle; along with several nieces and nephews, including special niece, "Nikki T".  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Conlin; brothers, James Waulk and William Exline; and sister, Myria Bowman.  In keeping with Jannie's wishes, there will be no services and cremation followed her passing.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Jannie's memory be given to the Jackson County Humane Society, P.O.
