Jean "Sis" Fain Sandlin, age 66, of Gallipolis, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born July 6, 1958 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph M. Fain and Pauline Knox Fain.  Sis graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 1975.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver.  Sis never met a stranger and loved socializing and having conversations with everyone.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, and crafting, but most of all, she enjoyed taking care of her family and being there for anyone who needed it.  Sis attended the Emmanuel House of Refuge in Wellston.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Sandlin; children, Jason Castor (Jennifer), Justin Castor, Hope Glenn, and Roberta Higgins; grandchildren, Hollee Castor, Riley Castor, Liam Castor, Harrison Castor, Benjamin Saylor, Matthew Saylor, Mike Glenn, Tonya Myers, Jordan Coughenour, Coleton Coughenour, and Madison Little, along with several nieces nephews, cousins and friends, including special great-nieces, Kasi Sowers and Katrina Mercer.  Besides her parents, Sis was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Sowers, Bill Sowers, Eldon "Junior" Sowers, Milan Fain, Sr., and Dwaine Fain.  Calling hours will be Saturday, May 31st, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Will Gillem and Pastor Randy Patterson officiating.  In keeping with Sis's request, cremation will follow the service.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliamsfuneralhome.com.
