Jerry Lee Hawk, Jr. age 43, of Allensville, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at his home.  He was born October 9, 1976 in Logan, Ohio to Jerry L. Hawk, Sr. and Valerie J. Ruffner Hawk.  Jerry graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 1995, and went on to receive an Associate's Degree in Criminology from OUC.  He is survived by his father, Jerry Hawk, Sr. of Allensville; brother, Jarrod Hawk (Stephanie) of Wellston; sister, Misty Hawk of Chillicothe; uncles, Ray Hawk of Allensville and Rick Ruffner (Jeanette) of Logan; nieces and nephews, Brittany McNichols (Nick), Jaylah Kennedy, Ryan Hawk (Brittany), Jacob Hawk, Jordan Hawk, Braylon Hawk and Jace McKenzie; as well as 3 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew, and several cousins.  Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Valerie Hawk; and grandparents, Charles and Emma Hawk and Max and Vivian Ruffner.  Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 1 P.M. at the Bell Cemetery in Allensville with Pastor Danny Minton officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
