Harold James "Jim" White, age 81, of Wellston, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born April 27, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Norman Edwin White and Clara Frances Harper White. Jim was a 1962 graduate of Jackson High School where he played football and was a proud member of the SEOAL championship team. He was a former truck driver who retired from Seymour Logging Company where he was employed for several years. Over the years, the Seymour family also became Jim's family. Jim enjoyed going to flea markets and car shows, riding motorcycles, watching Fox News, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan Ann Miller White; children, Harold White, Jr. of Florida, Shelley Jackson (Tony) of Jackson and Trisha Jackson (Kevin) of Jackson; step-daughter, Jessica Manring (Seth) of Wellston; grandchildren, Evan Galliamore (Christina), Ashley Galliamore, Nathan White (Jessica), Brian White, Bryson Jackson (Kelsey), Braydon Caudill (Sheyenne), Denver "Ethan" Caudill, and Case Manring; great-grandchildren, Jastin Galliamore, Elijah Tilley, Ciara Tilley, Xavier Galliamore, Avery Jewell, Aalijah Jewell, Alexis Galliamore, Peyton Galliamore, and Isabella Bright; sister, Cindy Rowland of Indiana; special niece, Sherryl Haller (Mark) of Florida; along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Norman and Kay White; mother and step-father, Clara and Carl White; sister, Norma Jean Holtz; and brother-in-law, Ben Rowland. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation followed his passing. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Jim's memory be given to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
