Joan E. Supino, age 82, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at her home. She was born December 14, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. Joan was blessed to be the ninth of 10 children born to Henry Zenker and Barbara Stehle Zenker. Her next blessing was her marriage to the love of her life, Bart Supino on February 2, 1957. Joan was a loving housewife and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Bartholomew F. "Bart" Supino, Jr.; and survived by and blessed with 4 children, Bart Supino (Judy) of Union, New Jersey, Joanne Atwood (Mike) of Wellston, Oh., Mark Supino (Debbie) of Blacklick, Oh., and Paul Supino (Amy) of Kingsport, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, Ryan Studer (Kelsey), Matthew Atwood (Josie), Sarah Atwood, Nicole Supino, Christine Supino, Gabe Supino (Jamie), Kendrick Supino Dill (Luke), Daniel Supino, Joseph Supino, Michael Atwood (Danielle) and Chris Atwood; brother, Edward Zenker; sister, Caroline Fuelling; along with 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joan was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be Friday, June 12, 2020, from 5 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where a funeral vigil service will begin at 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 10 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wellston with Father Nic Ventura, Father Donald Maroon and Father David Young officiating. For those attending, we ask that you abide by the Ohio Department of Health's guidelines for social distancing at this time. At Joan's request, cremation will follow the mass and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Church or School, 227 South New York Avenue, Wellston, Ohio 45692 or the Jackson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
