John William Jenkins II, age 25, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  He was born February 13, 1999 in Gallipolis, to John William Jenkins and Angela D. Sprague Fletcher.  John graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 2017.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and playing video games, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  John is survived by his mother, Angela Fletcher; siblings, Megan Montgomery, Drew Jenkins, Elizabeth Jenkins, and Bree-Anna Jenkins; aunt and uncles, Susan Allman (Stan), Jackie Jenkins (Lora), and Jerry Jenkins; grandmother, Judy McManus (Larry); grandfather, Larry Sprague; as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, John Jenkins; brother, Blake Jenkins; grandparents, Jack and Libby Jenkins; and step-father, Harold Fletcher.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 24th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Pastor Josh Landrum officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
