Joseph Ray Dearing, age 50, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at his residence.  He was born July 15, 1973 in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Joe was a self-employed truck driver and Jack of all trades.  He is survived by his brother, Wayne Dearing (Kristy); uncle, Ronald E. Osborne; along with several cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by family members, Dora Rainer, Bill Skaggs, Carolyn Skaggs, George and Nora Denny, Terry Rainer, and adoptive parents, Ron and Mary Dearing.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 1st, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson with Pastor Danny Neal officiating.  Online condolences can be sent to www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
