Joshua D. "Josh" Jones, age 30, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born May 27, 1991 in Gallipolis, Ohio.  Josh graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 2010.  He was employed at the Wellston Aerosol Plant and was a member of the Jackson County Fairboard and the NWTF.  Being a Dad to his daughter, Caydee, was #1 in Josh's life.  He was always the life of the party and could light up a room with his smile when walking in.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.  Josh is survived by his mother and father, Dee and Tim Ackley; his wife of 10 years, Chelsey Butts Jones; daughter, Caydee Jones; siblings, Kayla Burns (Dusty), T.J. Denney (Heather), Josh Ackley and Samantha Ackley; grandparents, Delbert and Barbara Jones and Jim Ackley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Todd and Beth Butts; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.  Josh was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Ackley; great-grandmothers, Ruby Scites and Doris King; uncle, Brent Jenkins; and grandparents-in-law, Ronnie and Minnie Butts.  Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, November 3rd, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
